If you fill in the form we get your name, your email address, your message and, if you add it, your company name. There are no other fields.

That mail travels through Resend, our mail provider, and arrives in our own mailbox. You get a confirmation at the same address.

We keep the message for as long as the conversation runs and two years after that, so we can look up what we discussed. If you want it gone sooner, one mail does it.

Applications go by email, because a CV wants to be an attachment. The site itself processes none of it.

We keep your details until four weeks after the process ends. If we would like to hold on to them for something coming up later, we ask you separately.

If you give us permission, we use Google Analytics to measure which pages get read, how long people stay with a section, how far they scroll, which country they arrive from and what device and browser they use.

We use that to see which stories land and which do not, so we can make the site better. We do not try to work out who you are, and we do not tie these numbers to anything else we know about you.

Without permission, none of this happens. The cookie statement explains how to make that choice and how to change it.

The site looks at your browser's language setting to decide whether to offer you the English version. If you pick one, we remember it in a cookie.

If your browser is set to a different language than the page, we ask Cloudflare, our security layer, for a two-letter country code. That is the country and nothing else: your IP address is not read, stored or logged.

Render runs the site for us, on servers in Frankfurt. Cloudflare sits in front of it and keeps the site fast and safely reachable.

Resend delivers the mail from the contact form, and Google Workspace hosts the mailbox it lands in. Google Ireland processes the visitor numbers, but only if you say yes.

We have agreements with all of them about how they handle data. Beyond that we pass nothing on, and we sell nothing.

You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to what we do with it. Permission you gave can always be withdrawn.

If we cannot sort it out together, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. That is your right, and while we would rather hear it first, the door is open.

All traffic with the site runs over an encrypted connection. Access to the mailbox and the systems behind it is limited to the people who need it, with two-factor authentication.

If we change what we collect, we update this page and the date at the top. If it touches something you already said yes to, we ask again.
